I know nothing about karnatik music, but a big fan of this great art. Recently I developed strong desire to learn to play an instrument (after browsing through websites like this one
). In particular, want to learn 'violin'.
1. Where to buy a good violin, I am currently in USA.
2. Any documents/links to help me get started. I know self-learning is not easy, but want to give it a try
