I noticed the thalam for this Purandaradasa krithi is marked Chapu. The version that I learnt (from MLV recordings) is Adi with two akshara edupu. Of course, Purandaradas krithis have some variety. In my Index, this song is listed under gaurimanOhari, kalyANi, madhukauns, madhyamAvati, pUrvikalyANi and tilang. All are in Adi tALA. The only exception is cenjuruTi which is in cApu tALA.
