Greetings, I am wondering if someone knows the song sphatika patira and if they could write the transliteration and English translation. I am not sure if it is Kannada, Sanskrit or Telegu. Forgive my ignorance. It goes sphatika patira, hara hira, heema heema kara, sharadabhra, shubhra, vasananchitam / wara dabhaya, sphatika gattika pusthaka shobhita hastam And there two other stanzas. I can write them out how I hear them in the song, but if someone who actually knows this song could do it, that would be better. Please forgive me, I do not know the exact separation of the words or how to spell them in English. Thank you so much for your time and help.

It is difficult to figure out the words because of the echo in the audio. But the passage is in Samskrt. Will try to get the correct lyrics.

I salute ( praNamAmi) the goddess of the dance stage (ranga adhidevatAṃ) who has the following attributes :
- Is bedecked (ancitAm) with a garment (vasana) which is white (Subhra) like the autumn cloud ( (Sarad abhra) and moon (himakara) and diamond necklace (hArahIra), sandalwood (paTira) and crystal (sphaTika)
- Has hands (hastAm) indicating giving of boons (varada) and granting fearlessness (abhaya), and shining (Sobhita) holding a rosary of crystal beads (sphaTika - ghuTikA) and a book (pustaka)
- Is renowned (praSastAm) in all (sakala ) worlds (loka)
- Has made all the directions (harid) and their interspaces (antara) resound (mukharita) with the music (sangIta) of the female insects (milinda sundarI), which are filled with immense (tundila) intoxication/joy (mada), due to the collection (sandoha) of the drops (bindu) of nectar (makaranda) flowing (nishyandamAna)from the bunch (bRnda) of flowers (suma), like mango (mAkanda), mandAra, jasmine (kunda) and lotus (aravinda) which are swaying (vellad) in her braided hair decoration (dhammilla)
- Has a heart (antarAm) soft (mRdula) as the SirISha flower
- Has cheeks (kapolAm) adorned with corners (ancala) of eyes (nayana) which are long (Ayata) and tremulous (lola), being overflowing (Apluta) in mercy (karuNA), which favours (AdRta) protecting (bharaNa) those who have surrendered (SaraNAgata) to her.
- Has a forehead (phAlAm) marked (ankita) with the moon (candra)
- Is fond of (priyAm) of the sweet (madhura) offering (upahAra) filled (paripUrita) in a silver (rajata) cup (cashaka)
- Is the beloved (priyAm) of Lord Shiva (nIlakaNTha)
- Is worshipped (ArAdhitAṃ) by all (akhila) gods/wise men ( vibudha).
Notes: 1. Sirisha is the flower of the Albizia lebbeck tree, Vaagai in Tamil 2. The phrase Nilakantha priya makes it clear that this is one of the many forms of Ambika described in Srividya tantras, where She appears similar/same as Sarasvati. but with varada abhaya hastas instead of Veena, parrot, etc. 3. phAla means the front part of the head, as well as forehead.

Hello, shalak, I'm afraid it is ridiculously late that I post this message, as one whole year has passed. I am deeply appreciative and very grateful to you for this thorough posting of lyrics and meaning. I truly apologize for such a delay; I hope this post has helped others. And much, much gratitude to you - I am still studying this song, of course! This is an immense help...speaking of boons Thank you 🙏🙏
